Sagar R Gangwani, an ideation coach at Sankalp Academy, wants to click a selfie against the Aurora Borealis in Norway in the next four years. And climbing the Machu Picchu in Peru has been on his list for long. He believes that such experiences make all the difference.

Like Sagar, many others also have a number of things they want to experience sooner or later. And the pleasure one gets in striking it off their bucket list gives is thrilling in itself. Being the adventurous person he is, making a bucket list has always motivated Sagar to look forward to achieving them, be it's related to travel, food or something else.

He says, "My list is long and to own a sailboat and sail it across the seas of Croatia is right on top of it. I also want to adopt a python, a lion and an Axolotl." So how did he come up with these ideas? He says, "I got the opportunity to travel to France through a student exchange programme last year. Over the next five months, I travelled across Europe, meeting people from different parts of the world and exchanging ideas. That's how the thought of bucket list seeped into my mind."

Among the many items on his list he wants to tick off are backpacking to the North-Eastern states of India and a trip to Puducherry (its beaches and the French colony). "I want to strike-off Puducherry first because it's long overdue. Im looking forward to starting a powerful and successful 2017 at Puducherry," says Sagar.

Suchi Utmani, a student of St Joseph's College of Arts and Science, wants to get a microlight flying license. It was during a flying session when this idea got struck her and it soon made it to her bucket list.

She also wants to visit the Christmas night market in Austria and go on reindeer rides in the snow (and she wants to strike this off soon). "I always wanted to go to Prague. I also want to play the guitar at a road concert someday. Owning an island in Cambodia is another item on my bucket list," says Suchi.

There is a difference between a bucket list and a wish list, as Sooraj Kalapur, a freelance DJ, explains. He says the things that one can possibly achieve sooner or later should be on the bucket list; others are merely part of a wish list.

He is a music enthusiast and has travelled to many places for concerts and festivals. And Iceland's 'Secret Solstice Festival' has quickly become a part of his bucket list. He says, "The unique thing about this festival is that it happens inside a dormant volcano and is basically a camp-out for music lovers. I am looking forward to fulfilling it in the next year or two."

Sooraj and his friends always talked about going to the 'Tomorrowland Music Festival' until they heard of this one. "I plan to achieve what's on my bucket list within a certain period of time. One experiences a sense of achievement, and it feels great," says Sooraj.
