Anusha Dandekar is a familiar name — that entertaining VJ who many grew up listening to. Over the years, she has dabbled in music, movies, anchoring and fashion.

At present, she is hosting the MTVshow 'Love School 2' with Karan Kundra. In every episode of the show, she makes a style statement with her attire.

Anusha chats with Anila Kurian about her style motto and what she wants to be remembered as a few years down the line.

Apart from 'Love School 2', which are the other projects that you're working on?

Ihave a fashion project of which I can't share the details. Iam also starting a business soon. Being a Capricorn, I love juggling different things at a time. Ilove being busy.

You've acted in movies before. What's coming up next?

Ilove acting and being associated with films. But I don't think I went about it the right away in my previous projects. I am looking for a good role, one that would be different and challenging.

What about music with your sisters?

We've all become too busy with our own lives that we just lost touch with that. But my youngest sister, Apeksha, is busy with her music and is travelling all over the country. We are happy for her because she has the best voice.

You're known as a fashion diva. What is your style motto?

Unlike my personality, I am very moody when it comes to fashion. I decide what I want to wear depending on what mood I am in. Iplay around with everything — girly, tomboyish to something extravagant. I think I am the 'Spice Girls' mixed in a body!

What are some of the must-haves that you recommend this season?

Given that the weather is generally cold everywhere, if you are attending a marriage function, an Indian outfit that is long sleeves is great. 'Anarkalis' are the best because they are easy to handle and give you the freedom to move around. For casual wear, a skinny ripped jeans, long top, sneakers and a long coat till your knees are the best. Keep your makeup simple and light. You can opt for a darker shade for the lips.

Your best and worst fashion moments?

The best would be what I wore for 'Love School 2'. I love the various experiments I did with outfits. The worst would be hard to pick because I thought I looked good in some of the clothes from a few years ago. Glad they are far behind now!

An outfit that you are most comfortable in?

A baggy tracksuit and sweatshirt. I can be wearing them all day.

Your advice to those who lack confidence about their looks.

Love yourself first and watch what you eat. No matter how much your exercise, if you don't control your food habits, you won't get the result that you are looking for.

A few years down the line, what do you want people to remember you as?

A successful businesswoman who is about to drop a fashion line.

Three random things we don't know about you.

Iam a shy person. I am a neat freak. I am very sensitive.

Tell us about your experience with 'Love School 2'.

It was a really good season and I am so happy that I had Karan by my side. It was too dramatic for me to handle it single-handedly and I wouldn't have been able to make it through without him.
